14. Job Interview English: แนะนำตัว เล่าโปรเจกต์ และตอบคำถามยาก

เป้าหมาย

บทนี้วางระบบตอบสัมภาษณ์งานเป็นภาษาอังกฤษ โดยไม่ท่องสคริปต์ยาวเกินไป เน้นให้เล่า experience, skills, project, weakness และ salary expectation แบบมั่นใจและฟังดูเป็นธรรมชาติ

ทำไม? สัมภาษณ์งานไม่ได้วัดแค่แกรมมาร์ แต่วัดว่าเราเล่า value ของตัวเองให้คนฟังเข้าใจเร็วแค่ไหน

1) Self-introduction 60 วินาที

ใช้สูตร Now → Before → Strength → Fit

I'm currently working on [current role/project].
Before that, I gained experience in [background].
My main strength is [skill], especially when it comes to [specific situation].
I'm interested in this role because [fit with company/role].

ตัวอย่าง:

I'm currently building AI content workflows for small businesses.
Before that, I worked on websites and marketing funnels.
My main strength is turning messy ideas into clear systems, especially when teams need to publish consistently.
I'm interested in this role because it combines product thinking, content, and automation.

2) เล่าโปรเจกต์ด้วย STAR แบบไม่ยาวเกินไป

STAR = Situation, Task, Action, Result

ถ้าไม่มีตัวเลขจริง อย่าประดิษฐ์ตัวเลข ให้พูดผลลัพธ์เชิงคุณภาพ เช่น the workflow became clearer, the team could publish faster, we reduced confusion แทน

3) ตอบคำถาม Weakness แบบปลอดภัย

อย่าตอบแบบทำลายตัวเอง เช่น I'm bad at communication. ให้ตอบเป็น “จุดที่กำลังปรับปรุง + วิธีแก้”

Template:

One area I'm working on is [weakness].
In the past, this sometimes caused [small impact].
To improve, I now [specific action].
This has helped me [improvement].

ตัวอย่าง:

One area I'm working on is speaking more concisely in meetings.
In the past, I sometimes gave too much background.
To improve, I now prepare a short summary before important discussions.
This has helped me communicate decisions more clearly.

4) คำถามที่ควรถามผู้สัมภาษณ์

• What does success look like in this role after the first three months?
• What are the biggest challenges the team is facing right now?
• How does the team usually make product or content decisions?
• What skills would make someone stand out in this role?

แบบฝึก

1. เขียน self-introduction 60 วินาทีด้วยสูตร Now → Before → Strength → Fit 2. เลือกโปรเจกต์หนึ่งงาน แล้วเขียนคำตอบแบบ STAR ไม่เกิน 8 บรรทัด 3. เขียน weakness answer 1 ข้อที่ไม่ทำร้ายตัวเอง 4. อัดเสียง mock interview 3 คำถาม แล้วให้ AI ช่วย feedback เรื่อง clarity และ confidence
